Give NowI am 20 years old. I did not grow up in a Christian home, but did grow up around church. Mymom did teach my siblings and I to pray, but it was not until middle school that we got involved in church. I came to accept Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was 14, and was baptized with my brother, mom, and step dad. I was devoted to Jesus, but as highschool went on, I grew into the habit of leaning on my own understanding and putting Jesus second. Despite my selfishness, Our Lord in His abounding grace was a comfort to me in the latter half of highschool as life began to hit hard. This led me back on the right path, and the summer after I graduated Highschool God called me to ministry, and I surrendered my life to ministry a few months after recieving the call at age 18. I enrolled in Seminary at Texas Baptist Institute in August 2022, and have remained a student there since.
As you read in my testimony, I am a student at Texas Baptist Institute, and I am pursuing an education that has and will continue to equip me for Kingdom work. As of 04/09/2025, I am an evangelist sent out by Alvin Missionary Baptist Church in Alvin, Texas. I have been sent out for the purpose of sharing the Gospel, creating training materials and curriculum, and hosting evangelism outreaches. God has called me to work with the Outreach Bible Project as Director of the South-Central region. I am also the social media coordinator for the OBP. Within my role, I am blessed with the opportunity to present the Project to churches throughout the state of Texas, and raise support for both the project as a whole and the role that God has called me to have within it.
